Upcoming Meetings
Intel Internet Health Day II-New York, October 12, 1999
Intel's first Internet Health Day, held in San Francisco in October, 1998, was probably the most important meeting in the industry's brief history. The Intel Internet Health Technology team has just announced that Internet Health Day II will be held on October 12, 1999 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York. The theme will be "Physicians & Patients on the Internet: Shaping the Future of Healthcare" Keynote speakers will include vice president Al Gore and futurist Ian Morrison. A variety of other speakers will represent health professionals, healthcare executives, consumers, the technology industry, health Web site developers, and the university and research community. There is no charge to attend the meeting, but advance registration is required. You will be able to register at the Intel Internet Health Web site two to three months before the meeting. If you have further questions about the meeting, please contact Sande Maciariello. You can find transcripts and other materials from last year's meeting at the following sites: Published in The Ferguson Report, Number 4, June 1999 | ||
